Project Description
RCMP Campus Entry and Dormitory 1, Fort Dufferin
Sustainable LEED Silver design of four floors of cadet dormitories plus a basement level for facility support equipment. The facility will provide living quarters for 224 cadets during their training and increase the site security/administration capacity. The sleeping quarters are laid out such that they can accomodate any male/female ratio in a troop. Also included are administrative offices, services spaces and lounges. The building envelope is highly efficient, and all cadet quarters and lounges are designed to have optimal views and daylight. Construction was completed in 2012.
