Project Description
The Union Bank Tower was Winnipeg’s first skyscraper, constructed in 1906. This project involved the restoration, conversion and addition to the 107 year old eleven floor Union Bank Tower for Red River College to convert to their Hospitality Program and Student Housing.
A new 95,695 sq. ft. home for Red River College’s hospitality programs and site of its first student residence includes 104 beds on residential floors, classrooms, labs, two-storey student lounge and cafeteria. On the main floor, the bank hall was converted into a fine dining area operated by the Culinary Arts Program.
