Project Description

This new, 11,110 m² senior high school was designed, constructed, and is LEED^® Silver Certified. The school has an initial capacity of 1,000 students with future expansion capability for 400 more students. MCW Hemisphere completed the LEED Fundamental Commissioning for this new facility as well as the seasonal and end of warranty tasks for Enhanced Commissioning.

This new school includes classrooms, a gymnasium, food lab space, woodworking and metal working CTS shop, library, common areas, portables, and administrative spaces. MCW Hemisphere employed a systematic commissioning process of ensuring the building systems performed interactively in accordance with the design and the Owner’s operational requirements. The commissioning team verified all equipment and systems were installed according to manufacturer’s recommendations in addition to the best practices and standards of the industry (including applicable Codes and guidelines).
