Project Description
The Farquharson Life Sciences Building is located at York University’s Keele Campus in Toronto, ON. This building is approximately 80,000 sq. ft. in size and has four floors, including a penthouse.
MCW provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for this complete redesign of the north wing of the existing Farquharson Life Sciences Building. The redesign was undertaken to allow for the Science and Health faculty to have suitable laboratories for their needs. In addition to the new laboratories, the project included a new exterior wall and floor construction at the entrance to the building, as well as a new penthouse protruding above the existing penthouse. The renovation also included an upgrade of partitions and finishes, as well as mechanical and electrical work.
