Project Description

This facility houses the Faculty of Applied Sciences (Engineering), Faculty of Management, and Faculty of Education. Completed for occupancy in two phases (January and June 2011), the facility contains modular space for offices, computer labs, classrooms and lecture theatres.

Mechanical Systems Description:

The mechanical work began with reviews of the existing site surveys and procurement of all additional background information. MCW provided pre-design, schematic design, and design development documentation for all mechanical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and drainage, fire protection, special systems (such as laboratory piping), and process and air handling.

Electrical Systems Description:

The electrical work began with reviews of the existing site surveys and procurement of all additional background information. MCW provided pre-design, schematic design, and design development documentation for all electrical building systems, including the main incoming power service, power distribution, specialty interior and exterior lighting, and life safety systems.
