Project Description
MCW is engaged with University Health Network for Princess Margret Cancer Center for on-going engineering consultation and design services for the projects at the 610 and 620 University Ave. sites. Acting as the Engineer of Record, MCW’s work includes MEP infrastructure condition assessment, on-going renovations and base building upgrade projects, such as adding emergency feeder to the SIMS core room, and load study for normal and emergency power.
One of our recent assignments is to provide Mechanical and Electrical Design and Construction Administration Services for the Princess Margret Space Transformation Project, which includes 189,000 square feet for phase 1 as part of an overall 10 year master plan (over 300,000 square feet).
The project consists of 4 distinct subprojects:Main floor redevelopment, Surgical Services redevelopment, Clinics redevelopment, Offices redevelopment.
