Project Description

MCW Hemisphere completed the full electrical design work for this education and recreation multi-use facility along with renovations to the existing arena. This multi-use facility includes a field house, exercise facility, large gathering area, classrooms, public spaces, movie theatre and food services area. Also included is a full-sized NHL arena with a seating capacity of 2,000 people.

The arena is primarily used by the public for minor hockey, figure skating and free skating. Additionally an existing arena was renovated to bring it up to current standards for use by the local Pontiacs hockey team. MCW Hemisphere worked closely with the project team to ensure this project was completed on schedule. Additionally, throughout the design stages, Hemisphere offered numerous cost saving options which resulted in a reduced construction budget.
