Project Description
This new fire hall accommodates up to seven personnel, and features administration, on-call and training facilities and a vintage truck exhibit. Upper floors facilitate offices and administration space. Two sets of high-bay parking areas accommodate a total of seven trucks. The structure was built to meet Post-Disaster seismic standards in accordance with the BC Building Code.
Mechanical Systems Description:
MCW provided mechanical designs, including HVAC and air distribution, radiant floor heating in the vehicle garage, vehicle, kitchen and washroom exhaust, plumbing, and electric heating.
Electrical Systems Description:
MCW provided electrical designs, including distribution, base building fire alarm and emergency power, power and lighting, and conduit raceway and communications cabling systems.
