Project Description
The Galt Museum renewal and expansion incorporated a large public, multi-functional space and expanded, environmentally controlled exhibition space enabling greater flexibility for programming and traveling exhibitions concurrent with that of permanent collections. The expansion also incorporated archive space and expanded vaults for the permanent collection. The mechanical installations were upgraded to improve the control of environmental conditions to a museum standard of performance. MCW Hemisphere was responsible for full mechanical engineering design services and contract administration.
