Project Description
The school was constructed with 16 instructional classrooms, two science rooms, four ancillary rooms, laboratory, gymnasium and non-instructional support space as well as a CTS area of 625 m2.
The mechanical design incorporated a DDC system to control exhaust fan and ventilation air units. High efficiency fan and pump meters were installed. Two speed fan systems were used on the gymnasium system.
The electrical design utilized energy efficient ballasts and T8 lamps in the instructional area lighting. Gymnasium luminaries were equipped with energy efficient electronic ballasts and T5 lamps. Multi-level local lighting control was featured in the instructional spaces. Exterior lighting was controlled by a time clock and photocell. Car parking receptacles were time and temperature controlled. Total construction cost was $7.2M
