Project Description
The Scotiabank Convention Centre is located in Niagara Falls, Ontario, some 500 yards from the Canadian Horseshoe Falls in the fashionable Fallsview Tourist District. A 240,000 square foot multi-purpose facility containing 80,000 square feet exhibition halls, 17,000 square feet of ballroom space; 1,000 seat theatre and associated amenities ; pre-function space, meeting rooms, office space, concessions, full service kitchen with capacity to serve 2,000 meals, truck loading docks and media broadcasting facilities.
The 1000 person theatre is a special component of the Scotiabank Convention Centre that functions not only as a part of the convention centre, but also independently, to provide evening entertainment within the area. The theatre features retractable seating tiers and a permanent stage and BOH support such as dressing rooms and green room. In the pre-function area a lobby bar supports intermission refreshment
