Project Description

The 64,000 ft2 EPIC Data Centre is the first of its kind in Manitoba and provides data centre solutions and cloud services to Manitoba businesses as well as organizations across North America. The data centre provides highly reliable, securely managed data space and IT services.

The facility consists of mechanical and electrical services on the main floor and a 34,000 square foot second floor data centre.

MCW provided the substation design, short circuit and coordination study and arc flash hazard analysis for this state-of-the-art data centre. Additionally, MCW provided peer review and design coordination and construction phase services related to all mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, plumbing, power and lighting systems, and critical / essential special UPS power.
