Field Law LLP
Field Law LLP Tenant Improvement
Project Description
Field Law is a prestigious Edmonton Law firm which recently moved offices into Enbridge Place (Kelly Ramsey Tower). This newly developed space encompasses 43,000 sq. ft. in a LEED Gold registered building. MCW Hemisphere provided mechanical and electrical engineering services which included working with base building infrastructure and creating design strategies to accommodate the vision and objectives of the Client.
Electrically, the space has been fixtured exclusively with LED throughout allowing special highlighting of key architectural features while providing low operating costs. The lighting design supports a variety of purposes including interior appeal, feature lighting for art and architectural features, worker comfort, and day light harvesting. Working closely with the interior decorators, lighting design and fixture placement took into account the daylight conditions which vary greatly throughout the year. In addition, there was significant infrastructure for data and communication requirements to support a number of IT requirements including internal servers, wireless hubs, and video/audio equipment for boardrooms and office spaces.
Mechanically, the design incorporated use of VAV distribution, connected with the building management system, accommodating for season changes and maintaining the operating requirements related to the LEED Gold designation. Fixtures are low flow and conscientious to the operational costs and demands of the Client.
