Project Description
This project involved the renovation and modernization of a high school with emphasis on energy efficiency. The school includes a variety of functional spaces including classrooms, music/band rooms, general work areas, offices and computer classrooms.
MCW Hemisphere executed the full scope of services for the mechanical systems including sustainable design, all design phases, tender, construction administration, assistance during start-up and commissioning. MCW Hemisphere personnel also provided assistance to the LEED® consultant. This project was the first LEED® certified school in Canada, incorporating standards for developing high performance, energy efficient, sustainable buildings.
