City of Spruce Grove
Aerials Gymnastics
Project Description
The newly opened, 4,200 sq.m., Border Paving Athletic Centre (BPAC) is a new multi-use facility, owned and operated by the City of Spruce Grove. Beyond providing much needed recreational space and being a community hub for sport and recreation within the Spruce Grove region, BPAC will be home to the City’s Recreation Services staff. This will be a Community ‘Recreation Hub’ – a support space for community club leaders to organize and operate. These support spaces include meeting rooms, multi-purpose rooms, workstations and storage . The Aerials Gymnastics Club will be a long term tenant in the BPAC encompassing a large portion of the recreational space. A key feature of the project is a connection to art, sport and recreation established throughout the facility and highlighted by multiple displays of public art and sports memorabilia.
