Project Description
The project scope of work encompasses the third floor of an existing office that is co-joined with the university facility. The new office space has a total gross floor area of approximately 3,220 sq.m. Design is an open plan concept, the floor has workstations, private offices, student rooms, meeting rooms, conference rooms, modelling labs, interview rooms and servery facilities. The systems design meet the requirements of ASHRAE 62-2004 and ASHRAE/IES Standard 90.1 – 2004, “Energy Efficient Design of New Buildings Except new Low Rise Residential Buildings”. The intent through-out the design was to achieve a LEED Silver accredited project that incorporates sustainable design elements.
