MCW is delighted to announce that Graham Lovely, P.Eng., has been awarded the 2019 Allen D. Williams Scholarship. It is presented annually by the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – Canada (ACEC) and the Allen D. Williams Foundation to just one outstanding individual. This award recognizes young professionals for their outstanding development, community involvement and commitment to consulting engineering.

Graham, who has built his consulting career with MCW since 2009, was recognized for his technical excellence, strong client relationships, engineering advocacy, business and management involvement, and his rich range of extra-curricular activities. Graham was presented with this award at the ACEC and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine Awards Gala in Ottawa, on October 23.  As a precursor to this award, Graham also won the ACEC-BC Young Professional award in April of this year.

Graham is an electrical engineer and team leader in MCW’s Vancouver office. Two of his key clients are the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the University of British Columbia (UBC).  Graham started the MCW Airports Project Group (APG) and is actively promoting this practice group within MCW’s offices, to new clients and airport stakeholders around Canada.  In March, he presented in collaboration with YVR on ICT systems while sharing his airport experience and technical knowledge with international airport representatives at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Stockholm, Sweden.

MCW is very proud to count Graham as one of our own, and to recognize him as an important contributor to MCW’s current and future successes.  Congratulations, Graham!
