MCW employs approximately 300 professionals through its offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Vancouver, Trail, Kelowna, Moncton and Saint John.
We currently have an opening for an Electrical Designer/Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating and completing feasibility studies of clients designs including determination of cost Project management duties including responsibility for the design and execution of projects Analysis of customer design proposals and specifications to determine cost effective solutions Ensuring professional quality services to clients Providing electrical design experience to a team of design engineers Working closely with project teams towards the completion of project deliverables within given timelines Ensuring coordination of electrical activities with mechanical systems Analysis of engineering design problems and implementation of solutions Completing technical reports and other documentation Supporting other departments in growing the business
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
Post secondary education in electrical design Experience working in a fast paced engineering firm. Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience Familiarity with AutoCAD Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint Experience working with customers and client base Experience working in a team based environment
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Proven ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables Excellent time management skills Ability to work under pressure Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented Team and customer service-focused Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible
