We currently have an opening for a Mechanical Designer/Engineer. Responsibilities: • Design of mechanical HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for commercial, industrial, public and private facilities • Create concepts and develop detailed designs for both large and small scale projects locally, nationally and internationally • Review and understand drawings, calculations and other documentation • Prepare drawings, schematics, reports and proposals as required • Understand mechanical engineering design concepts and read and understand pertinent codes and standards • Work with project team and Project Manager to ensure on-time project completion • Providing technical and administrative support through all phases of the project • Striving to ensure quality and timely delivery of finished products to clients Qualifications, Experience and Education: • Post-secondary education in mechanical design • Experience working in a fast paced engineering firm • Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience • Familiarity with AutoCAD • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint • Experience working with customers and client base • Experience working in a team based environment Required Skills: • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Proven ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables • Excellent time management skills • Ability to work under pressure • Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented • Team and customer service-focused • Self-motivated, hardworking, flexible Submit Your Resume MCW offers competitive salaries, performance bonuses, health, dental, life benefit plans and other benefits.
